Robert Irwin Weighs In on the Viral 1 Gorilla Versus 100 Men Debate and Gives the Perfect Answer
The Australian conservationist urged people discussing a fight between 100 men and one gorilla to look at the debate in a different way
Robert Irwin has entered the chat on the one gorilla versus 100 men battle debate.
The 21-year-old conservationist shared his thoughts on TikTok about the viral conversation, which has countless people arguing about whether 100 men could successfully fight one gorilla, after being encouraged to weigh in by his followers.
He starts his social media post with a humble, “I don’t know,” before diving into the many considerations for the hypothetical conundrum. “Gorillas are strong, mate, like really strong, but it’s a 100 people — I’m not sure.”
Then the Australian, son of the late and beloved Steve Irwin, shared his real concerns with the conversation.
“Just as an animal conservationist, fighting an endangered species just doesn’t sit right with me,” he says in the video with a laugh. “But how many people does it take to save gorillas? That’s the real question we should be asking because there’s not many of them left.”
He then shares a few fun facts about gorillas that he says he hasn’t seen brought up in the viral men vs gorilla chatter. “The one thing people aren’t really saying in this whole discussion, because yes, gorillas are super powerful and all of that, but also, they’re pretty chill,” Robert says.
“Most of the time, they kind of just keep to themselves. They’ll defend themselves and protect themselves and each other and all that, but if they don’t really have a reason, they kind of just do their thing,” he adds.
